Your Questions Answered
Does this require a tax stamp or ATF Form 1?
No. The PIX kit itself is not a firearm and does not create a short-barreled rifle (SBR) when installed on a standard Glock pistol. However, attaching a brace or stock to the rear rail may change the legal classification of the firearm. It is the firearm owner’s responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding pistol braces and stocks.
Will this fit in my standard Glock holster?
No. The added width and rail profile of the PIX Conversion Kit will prevent it from fitting into holsters designed for an unmodified Glock. You will need a holster specifically made to accommodate the chassis or a universal style that fits the new dimensions.
How reliable is the installation? Does it come loose?
The kit uses a robust clamping system that secures directly to the pistol’s frame. When installed correctly, it provides a solid, stable platform. In over a year of selling this product, we have had zero warranty claims related to the unit coming loose or failing during use.
